Toyota made a Super Bowl spot featuring the Muppets. Our job was to build off that story and make it into a social experience on game day.
We sent the Muppets in the Toyota Highlander to live-tweet the game. But tons of brands were planning on doing that. So how could we break through the clutter? By flipping the script, and asking the fans to provide the Muppets with updates on the game.
First, they hit the road.
Then, they hit some traffic.
They totally missed their big game spot airing because they were still stuck in the car.
And then the game ended and there was a TWIST ENDING.
